Hometown Heroes Presents: Karen Suarez – Making Hope Happen Foundation

The Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario are proud to announce Karen Suarez from Making Hope Happen Foundation as our next Hometown Hero presented by OmniTrans.

With her contagious energy and passion for people, Karen Suarez is making hope happen in partnership  with more than 50 organizations by personally introducing local and regional organizations to motivated residents ensuring the success of the community’s future.

In the last year more than 1,000 families and students have been served by connecting them to local jobs and work-based learning opportunities, small business supports and homeownership pathways.  Teaching adults and future generations about wealth-building strategies is how Karen, through Uplift San Bernardino, seeks to build a generation of successful adults committed to growing roots in the City of San Bernardino. None of this is possible without her amazing family and colleagues in the community. She lives in San Bernardino with her husband, 2 daughters and 2 fur babies and enjoys reading, volunteering, and eating dessert before meals.
