The Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario today announced that the team has completed two trades.
In the first transaction, the AC Clippers acquired a 2018 Second Round Draft Pick from the Delaware 87ers in exchange for guard Julian Jacobs.
In the second transaction, the AC Clippers acquired the returning player rights to guard Kendall Marshall from the Reno Bighorns in exchange for a 2018 First Round Draft Pick and the returning player rights to center Youssou Ndoye.
Jacobs, 22, spent last season with the South Bay Lakers, appearing in 34 games, and averaging 6.0 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 17.4 minutes. A product of the University of Southern California, Jacobs averaged 7.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists in 95 career games (72 starts) at USC.
Marshall, 26, appeared in four games for the L.A. Clippers entry in the 2017 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, and averaged 6.3 points, 7.8 assists and 3.0 rebounds in 20.8 minutes. The 6’4”, 195 pound guard has appeared in 160 NBA games over four seasons with Phoenix, the Lakers, Milwaukee and Philadelphia. He’s appeared in 37 career G League games across three seasons with Bakersfield, Delaware and Reno, averaging 14.5 points, 8.8 assists and 3.8 rebounds in 35.0 minutes.
